Blades, bullets, and photobombs – oh my! Fresh Interactive teamed up with Bill Snebold to produce photo mashup game for Fox’s upcoming hit movie Machete, directed by Robert Rodriguez. This flash-based module allows users to upload their own photos and place themselves among some of Machete’s hottest stars for a personalized movie e-card. Users are also able to email their photo to their friends, add themselves to the photobomb gallery, and generate their own page with their photo embedded for easy sharing. Check out the project at MachetePhotoBomb.com.
Through a marriage of ActionScript and PHP, Fresh Interactive was able to help facilitate the core functions of the game by enabling photo upload, image saving and resizing, and creating all sharing functions. We hope you have as much fun playing with it as we had developing it. Be sure to catch Machete in theatres, opening September 3rd.
